Below is a video of teacher Antonio Mongillo and his class creating their crowns and a group photo of their finished products. This video outlines the main parts of the lesson from the reading of the book, “A Lion’s Mane” by Navjot Kaur, a story about a little boy who

finds himself in different parts of world seeing similarities and between his culture and others. The students then use photos and objects from home as well as other decorative elements to create their own crowns.
